Every Brilliant Thing – because we all need a little hope and a lot of laughs

Next weekend our Contemporary Plays Series presents its first full-length play, EVERY BRILLIANT THING by Duncan MacMillan.  It’s a show about what’s good in life and what we live for.  The play follows a child who grows into an adult, in more ways than one, through keeping an epic list of Every Brilliant Thing in life.

More than anything this new play is about hope in the face of struggle, love in the face of death and humor in times of darkness.  See it because you want to understand.  See it because you want to laugh.  See it because you know what it’s like to love someone.  Just make sure you see it.

The show is written for one actor.  We have been fortunate enough to put together two versions of EVERY BRILLIANT THING.  One starring Steve Maggio and one starring Laura Graver.

Steve will take the stage Friday, August 30 at 7:30PM & Saturday, August 31 at 3PM.

Laura will take the stage Saturday, August 31 at 7:30PM & Sunday, September 1 at 3PM.

EVERY BRILLIANT THING also marks the first time APE is performing at The Strand Theater in Hudson Falls.  The Strand is a recently restored, renovated and remodeled theater and we are grateful and excited to be in residence next week!
